get involved submit a report - nesting or hatchling sea turtle
Part of the Turtle Watch Programs 2011 Sea Turtle Census is reporting all observations of nesting sea turtles, turtle crawls (where the turtle comes ashore but does not nest), hatchlings (baby turtles that make their way from the nest to the shoreline) or threats to turtles on their nesting/hatching beach (poaching, erosion). Your reports will be used in an annual report that will summarize the current level of sea turtle abundance in Belize and help monitor their populations over time.
Thank you for your participation in the Annual Sea Turtle Census and contributing to sea turtle conservation efforts in Belize for future generations!
