Conch Shell |
The queen conch, Lobatus gigas, is an important mollusk harvested by traditional fishermen and made into conch fritters, cracked conch steak and conch soup. Valuable pink pearls are rarely found and fetch high prices in the Japanese market. Conch shells have also been used to build small islands at fishing camps. Each conch shell is the byproduct of fishing and will have a hole in the spire where the fishermen knock out to release the hold of the animal.
A single conch shell placed in your home will bring the sea to you where ever you may be. US $10 Conch shell Includes CITES certificate |
