GET INVOLVED - Submit a Report - Stranded Sea Turtle

In order to identify and mitigate threats to sea turtles is it crucial that ALL sea turtles found stranded be reported immediatly.  Persons observing stranded sea turtles should contact the Belize Fisheries Department immediatley.  If the turtle is still alive then there is a chance it can be rehabilitated and released.  If it is dead then a necropsy will be performed so cause of death and size and species of  sea turtle can be ascertained.
